If i am a mom (part 1)

Well, if i am a mom, these are the kind of goals I'll do to educate my children...

 First and foremost, i want them to be as sholeh or sholehah as their father or even more. i want their life guided based on Al Qur'an. {fix price, no bargaining]

 Second, i want them to know many profession or hobbies and i should try to find what their interest is so i can support them into the right path. When i was a child, i only knew that success adults are doctor so i never explore myself on another field like art or design that I am actually into it.

 Next, i want them to be curious and always observance in a positive manner. Well, this goal is inspired by my bestfriend's father. He is a great entrepreneur who doesn't have any high education but he prove that by being curious and observing, one can gain wide knowledge and achieve a lot of success.

 The other thing i want is for them to really enjoy reading books / magazines etc. My father always tells me to read newspaper but i was so lazy to read it. However, somehow i realised that reading was very useful and i try to find a way on how to make reading enjoyable so i could be addicted to it although up until now i still struggle to love reading. but, when i was in the first semester of college, i read many books like how to get A in school, or how to study so i could have a good mark. From those books, i learned many tips and i really really practice it and enjoyed the process of studying so that's why i got a good GPA without any cheating on exams, Alhamdulillah. I couldn't imagine if i didn't read those books and was super lazy to read or study, maybe i couldn't make my parent proud of me in my graduation ceremony as i get an honor being the best graduate in my faculty at that time.

 In the next level, i also know that getting a great mark is not everything but it is important as it is a prove that i am so grateful to my parent who always support and struggle for me and my sisters so we can go to university. to sum up,  i will not force my children to get the high score, but support them to do their best, master and practice the knowledge they gain.

Assalamu'alaikum Hari ini aku mau berbagi ceritaku tentang bagaimana aku alhasil diberi kepercayaan sang calon buah hati oleh Allah ( walau saat ini masih dalam proses/ masih belum pasti juga tapi semoga diberi kelancaran yaa). Kata suamiku, berdoa aja dan yakin seandainya diberi kepercayaan anak, insha Allah itu adalah waktu yang tepat dan tak perlu khawatir mengenai rezeki- NYA. And.. i think there is not an art store as complete as Artfriend in Indonesia. The biggest Artfriend is in Blk 451 Clementi Ave 3, #03-307 (Clementi MRT, near Courts). Hai, temen - temen yang insha Allah jadi mama ataupun sudah jadi mama :) Materi kali ini hasil resume aku dari parenting workshop dari Kak Eno Lerian dan Kak Belinda Agustya, M.Psi Bermain  Bermain itu tugas untuk seorang anak - anak usia dini. Bermain itu banyak banget manfaatnya dari segi fisik (sehat karena bergerak, lari - larian), segi kognitif (kecerdasannya, tergali kreativitasnya), dan segi sosial emosional (contoh main ibu - ibuan, sang anak mencoba memerankan berbagai peran dan hal tersebut meningkatkan rasa empati sang anak karena menempatkan diri sebagai orang lain). Nah, misalnya anak usia dini (2 - 6 tahun) bermain tapi gak senang dan enjoy karena mamanya suka maksain sambil belajar ini dan itu, itu namanya bukan bermain loh gengs. Bermain itu atas inisiasi dari sang anak. Bebas memilih permainan, ikutin aja apa yang anak ingin mainkan, spontan, tanpa paksaan. Entah itu ngacak - ngacak, let them play :) menimbulkan kesenangan .
